Celebrating Human Rights Day on the Grand Place, Brussels

Human Rights Day Celebration on the Grand Place, Brussels

On Monday 10 December, to mark Human Rights Day and in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948-2018), the United Nations team in Brussels and the Association Pour les Nations Unies (APNU) - Belgique invite you to the Grand Place, at 6PM, for a reading of the Declaration.

From the Town Hall balcony, the Mayor of Brussels, personalities from the arts, the media and grassroots organisations will read the Declaration along with youth representatives. The reading will conclude with a special illumination of the Grand Place.

The reading of the Declaration is a public event and requires no prior registration. Join us and #StandUp4HumanRights.
