Currents was the electronic news bulletin of the United Nations Development Fund for Women (now UN Women). Published several times per year, it provided up-to-date information briefs on UNIFEM (now UN Women) initiatives, successes, events, projects and activities worldwide.

ILO Gender News" is produced four times yearly by the International Labour Organisation - Bureau for Gender Equality. The Newsletter is distributed amongst ILO staff and constituents, UN Agencies, civil society groups and others interested in ILO initiatives to mainstream gender and promote equality between women and men, girls and boys.

Issued by the Office of the Special Advisor on Gender Issues and Advancement of Women. Serves as forum for the dissemination and exchange of information on gender issues. It provides regular updates on gender statistics, recent resolutions, administrative instructions, and other policies and issues concerning gender.  In addition, the newsletter includes articles on subjects such as career management, networking, women in peacekeeping and monitoring.

In October 2008, the Division for the Advancement of Women published Issue No. 1 of Words to action, an e-newsletter designed to disseminate information on actions undertaken by United Nations Member States and United Nations entities to address violence against women.
