To mark the International Day of UN Peacekeepers the United Nations in
Brussels in partnership with the Goethe Institute organized a screening of a
new film on efforts to put sexual violence in conflict on the top of the
Security Council´s agenda.
The film “Resolution” focuses on the efforts of Margot Wallström, UN Special Representative on Sexual Violence in Conflict, to raise the issue of rape being used as a strategic weapon of war to the top of the agenda at the UN Security Council and thereby make the plight of the women an international peace and security issue.
