The World Television Awards are open to all broadcasters in Asia, Pacific, Europe, Africa, and North & South America from public, private sector and freelance producers.

fisheriesdrawingThe International Drawing Competition, linked to The Stop IUU Fishing Award 2013, allows children and youth to express through their artwork and drawings, why protecting our fisheries is important to inheriting a healthier world. If you are a citizen of the world and you are between 6 and 20 years old, you are eligible to enter.

Prizes of US$500 will be awarded to the winner of each age group (6-10, 11-15 and 16-20 years old). The artwork will also be featured in, posters, FAO publications (distributed worldwide), T shirts and other goodies.

The CLIMBIZ Challenge aims to support innovative small-scale and locally driven entrepreneurships in the Black Sea region which integrate social and environmental benefits into their business model.

FIVEThe School of Economic Sciences at the University of Buenos Aires, in association with the United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI), is inviting submissions from students and teachers for an international video contest on sustainable development and education. All videos, produced individually or by a group, must address in a creative way the theme of the contest. They must be original and could take the form of fiction, documentary or animation. The videos, which could be in any language, should be between three and twenty minutes in length and include English and Spanish subtitles.

A board of jurors internationally recognized for their expertise in the field of sustainable development will select the top three entries.

ACT-competitionIf you’ve got a good anti-corruption campaign design idea in mind they’d like to know!

UNDP and UNODC would like to encourage young people's engagement in the anti-corruption campaign. This competition is open for all young people between the ages of 15 and 25 years. UNDP and UNODC, in particular, encourage young women to participate in this competition.
