The Create4theUN team is delighted to announce that "Words" by Raphaelle Moreau has been selected as the Youth Prize winner in this year's competition. Fabrica, Benetton's communication research centre, was tasked with going through over a thousand youth entries before finally agreeing on a winner.
Raphaelle Moreau will be invited to a two week trial period at Fabrica, which if successful could lead to a full year grant and internship.
Founded in 1994 by Luciano Benetton and Oliviero Toscani, Fabrica is the Benetton Group communication research centre. Its aim is to combine culture with industry and offer young designers and artists from around the world an opportunity for creative growth and multicultural exchange. Fabrica is based in Treviso, Italy.
This winner's two week trial includes tutoring, facilities, work station, hospitality in a shared apartment in Treviso (30 minutes from Venice) and lunch in the Fabrica restaurant. The United Nations will cover the round-trip travel costs of the trial winner.
