At present there is no internationally recognized symbol for human
rights. The “Logo for Human Rights” initiative wants to change that!
Logos win people over through their symbolic power, distinctiveness,
clarity and universal applicability. This initiative was established out
of a conviction that a human rights logo will make a peaceful contribution
towards the global spread and implementation of human rights. In order
to find this logo, a global creative online competition with cash prizes
and open to everyone has been launched. The initiative has the support
of renowned stakeholders, supporters and partners from all walks of
life.
Among the Judges and Experts is Navi Pillay, from South Africa, current UN High Commissioner for Human Rights.
