landminesunricFrom March 29 till June 28, 2013 - The Royal Military Museum presents "MINES, treacherous weapons" - Pictures of victims and deminers in action.

From Cambodia to Libya, from Vietnam to Afghanistan and Iraq... For the past fifty years antipersonnel mines have claimed hundreds of thousands of victims in over ten countries. With this exhibition the Royal Military Museum wishes to sensitize the public to a problem that, unfortunately, remains current.

UNDP - EU: Sustainability in Electoral Administration brings experts to Maputo

5march-UNDP-EUA five-day thematic workshop entitled "Sustainability in Electoral Administration: Adequate Resourcing for Credible Elections," is being held in Maputo, from 4th to 8th March 2013 at the Polana Serena Hotel.

This joint initiative of the European Union (EU) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) brings together representatives of Electoral Management bodies from over 45 countries, electoral practitioners, international electoral experts and representatives of international organisations active in the field of electoral assistance. The majority of participants are coming from African countries.
