Ciné-ONU: "Not My Life" - 6 March

NotMyLifeTo highlight the global plight of human trafficking the United Nations, Ciné-ONU, invites you to the screening of "Not My Life" on Tuesday 6 March 2012 at 6.30 pm, Goethe Institute Brussels.

Not My Life is the first documentary film to depict the horrifying and dangerous practice of human trafficking and modern slavery on a global scale. Filmed on five continents over a period of four years, it unveils the many faces of trafficking and tells their haunting stories.

CrowdOutAIDS online Town Hall meeting (2pm CET)

crowdoutaids 15FebOn Thursday, 16 February (2pm CET), UNAIDS is hosting an online Town Hall meeting where the audience can interact with the UNAIDS Executive Director, the Crown Princess of Norway, and the CrowdOutAIDS drafting committee.

The online meeting is an opportunity for the public to ask questions about the new crowdsourced strategy, and young peoples role in the AIDS response.

CrowdOutAIDS has so far involved some 5 000 young people from more than 80 countries to set the course for the 'Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS' Secretariat's work on HIV and young people for the next four years.
