The United Nations will be among the participants of this year’s European Development Days (EDD) showcasing its work with a special focus on activities in the context of partnering with the European Union.A number of senior UN officials are expected to attend the event, including the Commissioner General of the UN’s Relief and Works Agency for Palestine (UNRWA), Filippo Grandi, Cheick Sidi Diarra, the Special Adviser on Africa and High Representative for the Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries and Small Island Developing States (OSAA/OHRLLS), Rebeca Grynspan, Associate Administrator of UNDP and Hilde Johnson the Deputy Executive Director of UNICEF.
Visit the UN stand to discuss in depth the work of the Organization with expert UN staff on hand and to pick-up key reports and documents. Organized by the European Commission and the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, EDD is the leading European forum where the questions and issues about international development cooperation are debated.
