The Global Reported Arms Trade: The UN Register of Conventional Arms
http://www.un-register.org/

Transparency in armaments builds confidence between countries, and can help determine whether excessive or destabilizing accumulations of arms take place. Being open about armaments may encourage restraint in the transfer or production of arms, and can contribute to preventive diplomacy.
Since its inception in 1991, the United Nations Register of Conventional Arms has received reports from more than 170 States. The vast majority of official transfers are captured in the Register.

Peacekeeping Research Hub

In partnership with the United Nations Department of Public Information and the United Nations Dag Hammarskjold Library, the United Nations Departments of Peacekeeping Operations and Field Support (DPKO and DFS) this newly re-designed Peacekeeping Resource Hub was created.  This website is designed to serve as the primary resource for Member States, Peacekeeping Training Institutes, and the UN's partners on all things peacekeeping-related. It serves as a repository for all official DPKO and DFS training and guidance materials, and provides links to other related UN documents and resources.  It also offers links to real-time news and updates in the United Nations peacekeeping world. It also provides access to communities of practice, a platform where peacekeeping practitioners and Member States can share and exchange information and ideas about the latest peacekeeping issues as well as collaborate on training and guidance materials.

UN Peacemaker
http://peacemaker.un.org/

UN Peacemaker is an online mediation support tool developed by the Mediation Support Unit (MSU) in the Policy and Mediation Division of the Department of Political Affairs (DPA). Intended for peacemaking professionals, it includes an extensive database of peace agreements, guidance material and information on the UN’s mediation support services. UN Peacemaker is part of the UN’s overall effort to provide advice and support to the Secretary-General and his Representatives in their efforts to resolve international disputes and internal conflicts. It is also intended to be useful to UN partners actively engaged in peacemaking efforts, including Member States, regional organisations, civil society, non-governmental organisations and national mediators.
